Are you thinking of doing a kitesurfing trip to Chile? Chile is a wonderful country where there are countless spots where you can practise your favourite sport. In Chile, you can go kitesurfing in the ocean and in our numerous lakes. In the Northern Area and the Central Region, kitesurfing is mainly practised on coastal beaches, whereas in the Southern areas of the country it is mostly practised in lakes and lagoons, especially in the Araucania and the Lakes District. With a single wave run, this place is for ocean sailing. Sometimes when the wind hits the shore you can surf and jump on the wave.

4.THE MOUTH OF ACONCAGUA
On this beach you can sail with a north or south wind. The wave is well ordered and it’s like 2-3 runs. If it is very difficult to enter the sea, you can opt for the swimming pool at the entrance, which has super flat water and a short track to do many gybes.

5. THE AROMOS RESERVOIR
This is an excellent place to learn kitesurfing in Chile!
Good atmosphere, small spot but enough to take a few laps. Excellent to escape the coastal valley and go to the sun and wind of Los Aromos.
Good place to learn. Nice setting. Short but still Track to have some planning.
6. PUCLARO RESERVOIR
The Puclaro Reservoir is the capital of kitesurfing in Chile, it is the place that gathers more people of all the spots in Chile. It is also where the largest number of kite lessons take place. Sports such as kitesurfing, windsurfing and sup are performed. It is located within the Elqui Valley where we can find many entertaining and interesting activities, for this reason, the valley is visited by many people a year, who are forced to go through the Puclaro Reservoir since it is the only route. The reservoir is one of the tourist spots in the Elqui Valley

THE RINCONADA BEACH:
Located 18 km north of the city of Antofagasta, it is an incredible place to practice kitesurfing, it has on shore winds that make it special for learning this beautiful sport. This spot has warm, turquoise waters and, together with the landscape, make this a magical place, generally with a calm tide, especially for beginner riders.
SANTA MARIA ISLAND:
10 km from La Rinconada beach, bordering Cerro Moreno, we find Santa María Island, a place of immense natural beauty and Biodiversity, where the sea meets in perfect harmony with the desert, here we can enjoy a side wind, with winds between 15 and 30 knots on its best days, with an extensive stretch to navigate makes it ideal for Freeride and Freestyle sessions.
CONSUELO BEACH:
About two kilometers from Santa María Island, we find a paradisiacal bay with winds that can reach 35 knots on a totally flat surface, making it special for Freestyle sessions, here we find off shore winds, ideal for riders. intermediate and advanced, from this point you can do good downwind to Isla Santa María.
